Privacy Policy

Couples Todo 2 has no accounts and no server. Your lists are stored in your own iCloud account and shared only with the people you invite. We, the developer, can't see them.
1. What the app stores
Your lists
Lists, items, details, and who added or finished each one are saved on your iPhone and in your private iCloud database. Apple runs iCloud, and its privacy policy covers how Apple stores that data.
Your name
The name you type in the app is saved with your lists so your partner sees your initial next to what you add.
Purchases
The free week and the unlock are bought through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
Analytics
The app has no analytics, tracking, or advertising identifiers.
2. Sharing with your partner
When you invite your partner, iCloud shares your lists with their Apple Account. They can see and change everything in them, and they see your name. You can stop sharing, or leave lists someone shared with you, at any time from Settings in the app.
Notifications about your partner's changes are made on your iPhone from data iCloud already synced. Nothing is sent through a notification server.
3. Accounts from Couples Todo 1
Before version 2, the app used accounts stored on our server, with your name, email address, password (stored hashed), lists, and a push notification token. If you sign in from Settings to import those lists, the app reads them from that server once over HTTPS and copies them into iCloud. Nothing is written back.
The old server stays up for a while so people can import. After that, we'll delete it along with every account on it. To have your old account deleted sooner, email support@couplestodo.app.
4. Deleting your data
Deleting a list or item in the app deletes it from iCloud. To remove everything, delete the app and, in the Settings app, go to your name, then iCloud, then Manage Storage, then Couples Todo.
5. Children
The app isn't meant for children under 13.
6. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date above.
